I finished it! It's out of sync because of the rigamarole I had to go through to get the whole thing saved, but I don't know where it got out of sync, so oh well. It's DONE now, and I can move on to things I'm SUPPOSED to be editing. (coughMYMOVIEcough)

Same song and characters as the last time I posted this video. XD Hope you guys enjoy. It's shippy, it nothing else. ^^;

Meled mah'jied, Kellemes karácsonyt, Veselé vianoce, and a Merry Christmas in whatever other languages you'd like!
Had a quiet Christmas at home. Went out to look at Christmas lights, but otherwise just stayed in, ate, and watched A Christmas Story. Visiting the rest of the family on Sunday. Not much else to say. Here's an adorable Christmas cat that was one of the Daily Deviations today on Devart.

Hope everyone had/has a good day/holiday season!

Got up to Dethdad. going to watch the rest later, but  I got up at 6 in the morning, and I'd rather go to bed now than finish. I'll save it for tomorrow. Because after that, no more new Metalocalypse for a while. D: And that means my obsession with the fandom will die out, like everything else.
Which reminds me, I've been pronouncing "Baccano" wrong. I put the emphasis on the first syllable, and it's on the second. Also, it's awesome and everyone should at least sample it, watch the first episode to see if they'd like it. There's only 16 episodes. 13 if you don't watch the OVAs

. --"eat all your lunch": Nathan really is the band father XD
--Skwisgaar stood up for Toki! It's totally canon.
--Nathan's drinking tea for his tea. If he drinks it, that makes it metal.
--Leeches. Ew.
--Charles! Save them! D: Leeches and blood-letting!
--Doctor Klokateers XD
--CHARLES FALLING OUT OF A BUILDING AND LANDING ON HIS FEET
--Nathan is golfing. That also makes golfing metal.
--FOR THE RECORD I TRIED. That's where it came from.
--Poor Charles.
--IT'S THE NEW MANAGER EPISODE!
--FENCING
--Skwisgaar is trying to be positive! IT'S CANON! XD
--Poor Toki
--Let's go! Come on!
--When are we getting to the backstory!
--Crumb cake is brutal
--Toki song!
--DDDDDD: Poor Toki!

Now from Snakes n Barrels 2 onward! I didn't write while I was watching this time, so I'm forgetting things.

First, something I forgot from before: Nathan is also totally the band father because he was the one that had the talk with the fat kid.

--LAMP MEETING
--Totally awesome sweet Alabama liquid snake
--If we were having a lamp meeting, I would invite you.
--That's all I wants to knows.
--So THAT'S what happened to Dr. Rockzo
--ANGRY TOKI
--Toki is awesome when he's angry and beating people.
--Sky-diving to record. That's some dedication there, Skwisgaar.
--XD Tokis ams goings to throws the hots towels.
--I want some French toast.
--Murderface is having a fire drill. Therefore, there must be a fire later in the episode.
--Charles is checking the defenses.
--FREAKING AWESOME CONCERT.
--"Well, actually, that's interesting, I've been--"  "I'm gonna go now/"
--FIRE
--Toki/Nathan!
--Skwisgaar is awesome.
--Hit that girl with a vodka bottle, Toki!
--NO, CHARLES, LET THE KLOKATEERS HANDLE IT! D:
--"Follow me if you want to live". Way to look cool, Murderface! I don't usually like him much, either...
--CHARLES, WHY?
--What's Selatica showing Crozier? Do they want Dethklok alive or not?!
--FIGHT HIM, CHARLES! YOU CAN DO IT! YOU FOUGHT EVERYONE ELSE OFF! D:
--XD "Bread and butter you're f*cking with"
--NO CHARLES D:

Which is the number of words I just uploaded to NaNoWriMo.org. It's almost as bad as what I did last year. At least this year I tried with the scenes and whatnot. Though I liked last year's plot so much better. But even though it was crazy rushed, and I ran out of time to remember to put quotation marks in all the time, and I had long awkward scenes and long awkward dialogue, and had hardly characterized anyone, the characters still developed. Interesting things still happened in the plot. And I actually am fond of it, now. I might even try to fix it up. (though most likely I'll just fix up the old angst-y one since it needs less work, and use my book-printing coupon for that)

Now I have to go study for finals and learn some more lines for the play I'm in. ^_^;; (but first, I'm going to watch a bit of WALL-E to celebrate XD Because I've been wanting to watch Define Dancing for a while now)

No, really.

You can also see her on the right side of the room in this video of cosplay chess. I think she's the bishop. Obviously, Kaiba's the king. (corrected by said cosplayer on the comment I left on playthedamncard) You can also see Jinzo at 3:00, who appears to be is a bishop. Found via playthedamncard. Because I don't have a NOVEL TO WRITE.

While I'm on playthedamncard, here's... oh, I can't even describe it; read the entry. I've watched the video at least 3 6 or 7 times.

But somehow the fire alarm went off, not once, but TWICE this morning. (I imagine there are a number of "my fire alarm went off" posts on FML right now) The first time at 2 AM, and the second at 9:30. At 2, at least, I was awake, but I was asleep at 9:30! ><;; If someone pulled it, I say we burn them at the stake. They deserve an appropriately ironic death.

Before all that, I spent something like 5 hours working on my movie. Nothing ever gets accomplished in my room, so I went to Starbucks, which was very productive. At one point, I was struck with inspiration for NaNoWriMo, so I opening a text document and wrote it down. I left the text document open, and at points during editing when I had something I felt I wanted to write down, I did so.
Some excerpts )1:28 - What IS Disney channel teaching our children?!

</div>
Then came the fire alarm and subsequent lack of sleep. But I had some coffee, so I was good. Then the rest of the day was much, much better. I got an A on my psych paper that I was sure I did horribly on because I technically didn't do what I was supposed to, but instead went into too much detail. ^^;; Then Media, which is always fun, and then my editor and film teacher couldn't make it for our usual Thursday editing session, which should be a bad thing, but leaves me more time to finish the things I edited, and gave me a couple hours more free time. It also allows me to eat lunch at 3 with Phil, and show him what else I've edited.
Auditions for more play stuff tonight! This time it's for three student-written plays, collectively called Premiers (XXIII), as this is their Premier. Then, The Office! (the only show I have this week as Glee was cancelled for stupid BASEBALL)

OH! Almost forgot! I got to go back to my high school on Monday to announce their musical! If there's one thing I miss about my high school--and there are a number actually, senior year was pretty awesome--it's doing the musical. In high school, my theater experience was limited to grade school Christmas plays, and high school Theater Arts class. I had no theater training. A tiny bit of vocal training, with a great choir director in grade school/church, but I can't sing all that well. And NO DANCE. AT ALL. From that, I was not only certain of a part in the show, as my high school didn't cut, but I earned a featured chorus spot, and if there was a level above featured chorus but below principals last year, I had it, because it was pretty much "Name Parts, Waiters, Featureds, Chorus". AND I had lines. I loved my high school musicals. I put everything I had in them. Which is probably why I got said parts, because there were other people that complained to me about not ever getting good parts when they DIDN'T SHOW UP TO PRACTICE. HMM. THINK THERE'S A CONNECTION? ><;; Argh, that bothered me. But yeah, awesome theater group.
So I got to go back to announce their show! It was fun. XD They apparently told the kids there was a "special guest" and when I showed up, they cheered. It did indeed feel good. I've lots of friends from those musicals. That's the other thing I miss. But I've got that in the Masquers, so it's okay. They did some skits, which I can't describe because I've got to go to lunch, and then I got to tell them... Once on This Island! XD Which they had never heard of. Well, at least 5 or 6 had, because we did parts of it in theater arts when I was a Sophomore and some of the seniors were Freshmen. I LOVE that show. It's not necessarily that great of a show, but I think it's really fun. It's written by the same folks as Seussical, for one. And it's Island-y and has fun music and characters. I had wanted to do it last year, but I loved Dolly,s o i don't mind. I'd be going crazy if I was there, though. XD I'm glad they're doing it. I think it'll be really awesome.

Should probably put that rant under a cut, but got to go.

NaNoWriMo starts in 10 days! What the heck am I going to write about?

This was actually happened a few weeks ago, but I'm in love with the band Nickel Creek, specifically the song This Side. Dunno why. I don't usually like country. (though it's more bluegrass, and they say it's apparently other stuff with bluegrass influence, but whatever)

Youtube has magically decided to not block my videos with copyrighted songs. How about that.

Facebook told me this today: . "Alexis just played 20 complete games of the NEWBejeweled Blitz in a mere 30 minutes!
We here at PopCap would like to commend Alexis for her dedication and focus. We'd also like to remind her of the importance of looking away from the screen now and again and focusing her eyes on a distant object."
I think I need help.

Eureka/Renton just jumped about five places on my "favorite pairings" list. I've seen 27 episodes in the past few weeks. And like 12 of them in the past two days. Am currently pricing costumes, but if I ever did it, I'd want contacts. ^^;; Also am going to see the movie on Thursday night with the friend that got me onto the series in the first place! I've been meaning to talk to him and stuff now that we go to college together... and also been trying to drag him to SOME movie for three weeks, but he's been away or not responding to my texts. ><;;

Had an interesting experience in the library tonight. Was writing a paper and had my music on, but it was my writing playlist, which is all soundtracks and not very loud. There was a group of people at the table next to me discussing mass times. (it was a group study part of the library, so talking was okay) One guy suddenly exclaimed that he was supposed to go to 6:00 mass and that he forgot to go to mass today! He whipped out his phone, called someone and discussed that he'd say a rosary that night and go to confession the next day. And I couldn't help but think that maybe I got a little TOO disillusioned in the first couple weeks of school. Which made me feel much better about school.

It was a good week, don't get me wrong. But that was a nice end to it. Or begining of this one. This week'll be short, thanks to G20, only two days of classes for me. Both of them, I have play practice, though, so it'll be busy. Wednesday, going home; Thursday, possible school-visit during the day and then Eureka Seven movie; Friday, other possible school-visit day; Satuday, Erie Anime Experience; Sunday, back to school for TECH SUNDAY.

Now I'm off to watch more Eureka Seven. Only three episodes left!

I've had Snoopy's Christmas stuck in my head for a few days now. World War I plane research does that, apparently.
Also, I find it pretty hilarious that Encyclopedia Britannica is covered with ads and pop-ups, whilst wikipedia has none. At all. Though it has a frustrating lack of references on the pages about figher planes.

I am now officially going to the Erie Anime Experience (which is actually in Edinboro, and at least half an hour away from Erie) with the intention of meeting Wayne Grayson! Yes, I'm a dork. But if I get it over with now, I won't go "oh, I wish I would have met him when he was only 2 hour away that weekend that I had all those days off of school!" Since it's G20 weekend and all, and I'll have lots of time to do homework before I go. A friend may come with me. I hope she does, I will feel much less dorky with company.

I'm still working on uploading France pictures. I keep forgetting. ^^;; Someday. Maybe this weekend. Mabye I should go finish writing my paper first. ^^;;
